Cardale Jones (; born September 29, 1992) is an American football quarterback for the Ohio State Buckeyes. Jones quickly went from relative obscurity to the national spotlight after winning his first three college starts at quarterback, which began with the 2014 Big Ten Football Championship Game and ended with the 2015 College Football Playoff National Championship. At the beginning of the 2014 season, Jones was listed as third on the Ohio State depth chart at quarterback. He ended up as the starter after injuries to Braxton Miller in August and J. T.
